200ml Reed Diffuser Bottles

A 200ml reed diffuser bottle is the large home-fragrance vessel used for living-room and open-plan diffusers, luxury gift sets and longer-lasting fragrance programmes. It holds enough oil to scent a large space for several months, uses a standard 18 mm reed opening in most of our models, and takes a full reed bundle. This is the size brands choose when the diffuser is the hero product of the range rather than an add-on.

Why choose 200ml diffuser bottles?

Longer service life per fill. A larger oil volume means fewer replacements, which matters for retail “value” positioning and for venues that run diffusers continuously.
Better canvas for premium finishing. More glass surface means gradient coatings, frosted shoulders and large labels have room to work, so the vessel carries the brand on the shelf.
Natural gift-set anchor. A 200ml diffuser paired with a candle or a room spray makes a substantial gift box without moving into the oversized freight bracket.

Most 200ml models share the same 18 mm reed opening used across our diffuser range, which means caps, collars and reed sets are largely transferable between a 100ml and a 200ml bottle in the same family. The wide-mouth models are the exception: they use a larger opening for easier filling and a different cap set. We supply drawings and confirm the exact opening for the model you select before quoting closures.

Reed count, fill volume and duration

Reed count: a 200ml bottle is normally supplied with 8–10 reeds. More reeds raise scent throw and shorten the life of the oil; fewer reeds slow release and stretch it. The set is matched to the opening and reed thickness.
Fill volume: around 180–190 ml of fragrance oil leaves clearance for the reeds and keeps the liquid below the shoulder.
Duration: a 200ml diffuser commonly scents a living room or open-plan area for several months. Actual duration varies with oil formulation, reed count and condition, room volume, temperature and airflow, so it should be confirmed in your own test.
Stability: at this height and capacity, bottle centre of gravity matters — if the bottle will sit on a shelf edge or a tray, tell us and we will recommend a lower-profile shape.

Available colours and surface finishes

200ml bottles are produced in clear glass, transparent and internally coloured glass, frosted and matte finishes, and gradient, pearl or electroplated effects. Decoration includes silk screen printing, hot stamping, UV printing, wrap labels and printed gift packaging.

Where the bottle will ship filled, the closure has to be leak-resistant rather than decorative only — we quote a sealing plug plus an outer cap for those orders as standard.

How many reeds are recommended for a 200ml diffuser bottle?

Normally 8–10 reeds, matched to the reed opening and reed thickness. More reeds increase scent output and shorten how long the oil lasts; fewer reeds slow the release and extend it. We supply the reed set sized for the specific bottle model.

Can 200ml diffuser bottles use the same caps as 100ml?

In most cases yes, because our 100ml and 200ml models in the same family share an 18 mm reed opening, so caps, collars and reed bundles are transferable. Wide-mouth models use a larger opening and need their own cap set, so confirm against the model number.

Are wide-mouth 200ml diffuser bottles available?

Yes. Wide-mouth models are produced for easier filling and for designs where the open neck is part of the look. They use a larger opening than the 18 mm standard, which means a different cap family and a different reed configuration.

What is the MOQ for custom-coloured 200ml bottles?

Custom colours carry a 3,000 pcs minimum per design, the same as our other decoration routes, with a physical colour sample approved before mass production. Selected ready-stock models can start from 1,000 pcs without custom colour.
